Persian Empire spread both east and west of present day Iran.

​

Tibet is still called Tibet, but is now part of China

 

Hindoostan is an old name for India. Long back, Hindoostan spread from borders of the Persian empire in the west and included Balochistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangaldesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

​

Sham in now known as Syria and included Palestine region.

​

Anatolia or Asia Minor is present day Turkey, until the borders of Armenia.

​

Heja and Najd are now part of Saudi Arabia

​

Samarkand is now the Uzbek region.

​

Menefer is now known as Memphis, in Egypt

​

Kemet has a new name - Egypt.

​

Afghania was a region of Persian empire, and is now called Afghanistan.

​

Smyrna  - Modern name of the city is Izmir.

​

Attar is another word for Perfume
